Hi! I'm new to the RACC and cycling in general although I have done some bike tours and LOVED them. I currently own a heavy hybrid bike but I do plan to get something else. I suppose I'm more interested in road cycling as opposed to mountain biking but I'm open. If anyone meets on Saturday or Sunday mornings I'd love to join you. I can also bike after work.
Well just happened to skim across this site in an attempt to learn more about the Rodalben trail.

I'm new into mountain biking but have been having a lot of fun doing so recently (even though most of the time I'm alone!)

I just picked up a cheapo Kona Fire Mountain for now until I can really get into the hang of things where I need a more advanced bike.

Mainly I've been riding around the Burg Hohenecken which has been fun for a little bit but is starting to get pretty boring since it's ...

Want to say whats up!

I went with a few guys last week on Thursday evening and did quite well. But I approched the rock garden way to fast and about ten feet from the bottom my feet sliped off the pedals and my weight got too far forward. Front wheel hung up on a tree root and away I went. I flew forwar like Superman and the bike went fliping into the air. My face hit the ground first on a BIG rock. I bounced ...

Old Friends,

Just stopped by to say hey and glad to hear winter has departed the KMC and your riding riding riding!!! The trails here are still to wet to truly enjoy but I'm getting used to the +10% climbs up and down the Alleghany. Supposedly there are some great MTB routes in the local area but we are still so staturated that anything off the pavement and double track is mud covered by water. Hope everyone is having a great spring and get your ass in the saddle!!!

I’ve been lurking the RACC since I moved to the K-town area ‘bout a year ago and figure with the riding season getting ready to start it would be a good time to sign up.

I fit the Clyde class of rider that’s more into the fitness and fun rather then the competition. Been riding my GT Hardtail in the ground for the past eight years…did a major overhaul ‘bout three year ago but just last week I decided it’s time for an upgrade....so I ordered a Jamis Parker frame which I plan to build up ...

Hello all, I just PCS'd in from okinawa, I have been away from cycling for about 10 years but am ready to get back in the saddle...now to buy a new bike...Where to start and what to buy? Roadie, MTB, SS, so many choices..I'm thinking a MTB of some flavor will be first since my street ends by turning into a trail into the forest in Landstuhl Melkerei. Looking forward to the spring and this white stuff to go away.

Just could not take not riding to work anymore. So Last night I decided to get all the winter gear out and move it to the bedroom. This way I would remind myself that I need to ride to work. I spent money on a new set of Dinottee light for this. So I got up but my riding gear on and rode to work. I was actually sweating after I got down the mountain and started pedaling. Now for the ride home which will be better since it's almost all up hill. The trip is from Stelzenberg to ROB and Back. ...

We rented a house in Weilerbach, so I will be looking for any ride info from there on the road and anyone who lives in the area that is looking for someone to ride with.

I will be having dinner tonight somewhere with Stefano, Mario, maybe Angello and the hardest woman alive Ausilla. Don't know where yet, but I will post something. Is Dan still here?

I like group riding on the road and riding from village to village seams like it would be fun, like pretending you're in the Tour. But if you guys don't do that type of riding, maybe my mountain bike would be more fun. I've ridden the trails around the castle several years ago, and I know they are fun. I'm Devin (17) and im new to the area, (living on Vogelweh) I love mountian biking and am looking for any oppurtunities to ride.

I came from Georgia, where I stated racing in the GSC series, the two races I did I took first in the kickoff for the series, and 3rd in the championship race. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the races inbetween the two.

Right now I'm riding a not so stock Trek 3900, but I'm looking at a Sette Flite for my next rig.
