Race Across the Sky in Germany and Qatar!
Hola,
I tried to set this up so we could get it to a theater in Balad but I ran out of time. I ran into Slater at the Deid and forgot to tell him about it (Sorry Andy. Hope you see this in time!!!) Anyway, the nice people at Citizen Pictures wanted to do something for the troops and they sent us an advance copy of the movie. For those who've never heard of it (come out of you cave more often) here is the website:
http://www.raceacrossthesky.com/
This is still in theaters in the states. Basically it's about the Leadville 100 MTB race in Colorado.
I dropped off a copy at the CC theater at the Deid and Fred said he'd get it on the schedule for next week. I have another copy which is headed back to Spandahlem. Hopefully we can get it in the theater there and I'd like to set something up at the Brickhouse. I'll get dates up as soon as I hear back from Mr. Heagerty.
I'd like to get a copy up to Ramstien (sp) when I get back, but I don't know when I'll make the drive.
Hugs and Kisses,
Hector

Sorry guys I am a little slow sometimes. Is the Thursday show at Ramstein or Spang.? If it is Ramstein is it the theaters in the mall?

Re: Race Across the Sky in Germany and Qatar!
Sorry. Thursday is in Qatar. Can someone at Ramstein hook me up with a POC at AAFEs there? I'll start trying to get over to you. At Spangdahlem we're planning to show it at the Brick House. No date yet.

It was AWESOME! Watching Lance's climbing techniques with a MTB was the highlight for me. Thanks for setting it up here...I hope they play it again!
Hint: Don't leave when the credits start rolling at the end...there's probably 15 more minutes of commentary after the credits roll.
